Welcome to SkillHuman. By accessing or using the SkillHuman platform (“Platform”) operated by K V Labs Private Limited (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Definitions

  • “Platform” refers to the SkillHuman website at skillhuman.com and all related services, applications, and tools.
  • “User” means any person who accesses or uses the Platform, including students, instructors, and visitors.
  • “Learner/Student” means a user who enrolls in and accesses courses on the Platform.
  • “Instructor” means a user who creates and publishes courses on the Platform.
  • “Course” means any educational content, program, or resource available on the Platform.
  • “Content” means all materials, including videos, text, images, assessments, and other media available on the Platform.
  • “Services” means all features, tools, and functionalities provided through the Platform.

2. Use of Services

2.1 Account Registration

To access most features of the Platform, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Keeping your account information up to date

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

2.2 Eligibility

By using our Platform, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 13 years of age (or have parental/guardian consent if under 18)
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
  • Your use of the Platform does not violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • You are not barred from receiving services under the laws of India or any other applicable jurisdiction

2.3 Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account
  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or resell course content without authorization
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose
  • Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with Platform functionality
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Platform

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1 Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • UPI (Unified Payments Interface)
  • Net banking
  • Digital wallets
  • Other methods as displayed at checkout

All payments are processed securely through our authorized payment gateway. We do not store your complete payment card information.

3.2 Binding Contract

When you purchase a course or subscription on our Platform:

  • A binding contract is formed between you and K V Labs Private Limited upon successful payment confirmation
  • Course access is granted immediately upon payment confirmation
  • Prices displayed on the Platform are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated
  • We reserve the right to modify course prices at any time; changes will not affect existing purchases

3.3 Invoices and Receipts

Upon successful payment, you will receive:

  • An electronic receipt to your registered email address
  • A tax invoice as required under applicable Indian tax laws
  • Access to your purchase history in your account dashboard

4. Refund Policy

4.1 NO REFUND POLICY — ALL SALES ARE FINAL

We maintain a strict no-refund policy. All purchases made on the SkillHuman Platform are final and non-refundable.

This applies to:

  • Individual course purchases
  • Course bundles or packages
  • Subscription plans
  • Certification programs
  • Any other paid services or digital products on the Platform

4.2 Rationale

Due to the digital nature of our products and the fact that course content is made immediately accessible upon purchase, we are unable to offer refunds. Once you have accessed course materials, the service has been delivered.

4.3 Exceptions

Refunds may be considered only in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Technical Failure: If you are unable to access a course due to a verified technical error on our Platform and we are unable to resolve it within 7 business days
  • Duplicate Payment: If you are charged multiple times for the same transaction due to a system error
  • Unauthorized Transaction: If a payment is made without your authorization (subject to investigation and verification)

Refund requests under these exceptions must be submitted to hello@skillhuman.com within 48 hours of the transaction with supporting documentation.

4.4 Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us constitutes a violation of these Terms. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraudulent chargebacks and to pursue recovery through appropriate legal channels.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including course materials, videos, text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of K V Labs Private Limited or its content creators and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use course content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not:

  • Download, copy, or reproduce course content for redistribution
  • Use course content for commercial purposes without written permission
  • Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • Course content will be accurate, complete, or current
  • Results or outcomes will be achieved from any course

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, K V Labs Private Limited shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data, revenue, or profits
  • Damages arising from your use or inability to use the Platform

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

Before initiating legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for at least 30 days.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email and by posting a notice on our Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
